We use Sonar 7 for most tracking, complete with 16-in and 12-out DAW capabilities and a Pentium Core-2 processor with 2GB RAM. However, we also have the ability to use other programs when necessary. Epiphany Recording Studios has a two-track analog recorder available for use as well. Our board is Toft’s ATB 32-channel console, and we listen through a pair of KRK V8’s for near field monitoring and JBL 4412A’s are the alternate monitors. Additionally, the patch bay is configured to allow for an exponential number of signal path options, to ensure that our clients’ needs can be met quickly and easily, from flexible monitor mixing options to many other routing capabilities. ERS employs a microphone locker which includes the Rode NT1, AKG’s Perception 400, the MXL V69, AT 4040, SM 57’s and a vast array of Audix Mic’s (SCX1’s, D2’s, D4’s, D6’s, i5’s...) among many other quality mic’s used for a wide range of tasks. We also have sources for the acquisition of other microphones, as well as instruments, amps, effects processors and other gear depending on the job that is being undertaken.
